Drying pans

I recently bought new muffin pans because my old ones were full of rust!  They were really yucky!  When I wash them in the dishwasher, they never seem to get completely dry.  So now I turn my oven on and stick the pans inside for about 5 minutes to completely dry.  I have done this with my cake pans and cookie sheets-actually  any metal pan that has a rolled edge that holds the water.
