Works For Me Wednesday

This may not be an incredibly helpful tip, but I’ll share it anyways.

Trying to be “green”, I bought the reusable bags to the grocery stores I frequent and then found myself always forgetting to bring them. Now, I keep them in the little pocket in the car door and I remember to use them more often than before.

I also keep a little envelope in that same car door pocket to hold coupons to fast food restaurants while we’re out. We don’t normally frequent them, but it’s nice to save a little money when we do make a stop. I also have coupons in there for free ice creams at Chick-fil-a and coupons for snow cones at Bahama Bucks, both of which are nice to have on a hot summer day!

  1. I have the same problem….I will try to get them in the car after every use and maybe I can remember….now If I can remember to take them in the store.

    Thanks for the tip

  2. Great minds think alike! I keep my reusable bags in the same place. And I can attest to the fact that it does get easier to remember to take them in the store each time. Now if I could only remember the kids…
