Pool Party Favors

I thought the perfect party favor and activity would have been for the girls to decorate their own flip flops, but my daughter was adamant about not doing that. So for their party favors, we filled these little buckets with bubbles, a pair of colored sunglasses, a flip flop notepad, a flip flop key chain, a blow up beach ball and their koozy, as well as any prizes they won from the games we played in the pool.

Bubbles are always a fun activity, no matter how old you are! To make the bubbles coordinate a little better, I took off the original label and replaced it with some decorative paper (simply glued it on with Elmers). I wanted the paper to withstand more than just one use, so I covered it with two layers of mod podge and added flip flop stickers to the lid.

Summertime in Texas is HOT! We wanted to avoid the questions of “who’s drink is this”, as well as keep the drinks cool. I found some koozies at Michaels and some super cute foam stickers. As the girls arrived, they got to decorate their own koozy, use it at the party and put it in their favor bucket when they left.

Check back tomorrow! I’ll have the cake and party games we played.

  1. The koozie idea is AWESOME! Good for you! And, I love the bubble idea. I’d have just stuck the bubbles in the buckets, lol.
