Tator Tot Casserole
This is a dish my kids love, husband’s not as crazy about it. He calls it white-trash casserole, but I don’t care…I like it!
1 bag tator tots - I use Ore-Ida
1-2 lbs. of ground beef (just depends on how much meat you want)
1 can cream of mushroom soup - I prefer Campbell’s
grated cheese - cheddar or colby-jack
milk - about a cup
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
While browning the meat, mix the soup with milk and a handful of cheese.
Grease a casserole dish.
Drain the meat, I also rinse it to get rid of excess grease, but this recipe isn’t healthy, so it probably doesn’t matter.
Mix the meat with the soup mixture.
Pour into casserole dish.
Cover the entire top of the meat mixture with tator tots and place in the oven.
When the tator tots are golden brown, I pull it out, sprinkle a little more cheese over the top and set it in the oven to melt.
I usually serve all the plates before calling the kids in for dinner, as this stays steaming hot for quite a while.

Thanks for stopping by! I’ve been “flying” too, but I need to tweak some things, hence, my own “31 Days of Cleaning.”
This recipe sounds yummy - I think I’ll make it soon!
