April Fool’s Success?

My family was definitely skeptical when they saw me serve cupcakes for dinner.  I put a few containers of sprinkles in the center of the table for added effect.  The kids kept looking oddly at their cupcake and then they’d look at me and ask why are we having cupcakes?  Then my son sniffed the icing (mashed potatoes) and then licked them and said, “what the…” and at that point, the secret was out because my hubby and I just started cracking up.  The kids grabbed their forks and happily ate their dinner once I told them I made real cupcakes for dessert!
