April Fool’s Day

Tomorrow is April Fool’s Day and I believe the only real joke that’s ever been played in our home was a few years ago when my husband stuck a rubberband around the sprayer in the kitchen.  So when you turned the water on, it immediately sprayed the person turning the water on.  My older kids have always tried to duplicate that joke, but we’ve all caught on since then.  This year, I intend to fool the kids with their food.  I found this recipe at http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/family/tool/RecipeFinder/ for “colorful cupcakes” but they contain no sugar.  They’re actually meatloaf with mashed potatoes on top.  I’ll have to make some regular cupcakes, as well, to ward off any major disappointments!  Pictures will be posted tomorrow, as well as my family’s reaction!
